The Little Cafe in the Woods & Tea Garden

Soba and I went to Natural Surroundings today. It's my first visit and I think I will have to go back because there is a lot more to explore.

It was gone 11 am when I got there and the car park was full and I nearly turned around and left but as I was doing so, a car pulled out and left me a perfect parking space. I'm glad that it happened that way because the place isn't called Natural Surroundings for nothing.

After the kerfuffle re: parking space was gone and once I felt more relaxed, sitting in the car with windows down,  all I heard was birdsongs. The place was so pretty and yes, surrounded by nature. Parking space is free and you can go for a walk along many public footpaths and have a bite in a very cute coffee shop called The little Cafe in the Woods & Tea Garden.

Every corner in that Cafe is so cute. I sat at the table for 2 by the window (in the first photograph) looking out to the little garden with lots of bird feeders and lots of birds!

It was boiling inside as it was a warm day but it must be very nice and cosy in the winter. There is a wood burner right in the middle of the seating area - I couldn't take a photograph because there was a group of people sitting at the table next to it.

And I LOVE the way they decorate the place with wild flowers! They are so, so beautiful.

The food is okay but to be honest I didn't expect it to be great. It was too hot to have a cup of tea or coffee so I ordered a sausage roll and a tin of Coke (I have not drunk Coke for months!)
The thing I love was the atmosphere - to sit in a very engaging cafe surrounded by nature after a walk on a warm day  was so lovely.

Apart from food and refreshments, you can also browse at lovely things from the gift shop area 0r you can even buy something because everything is lovely and relates to nature, of course.

I'm personally not a shopper but I love to browse.

They also have plants for sale outside. And what I didn't realise is that there are outdoors seating area which I should've sit. Never mind, next time.

The garden looked so lovely and it had this and that corner with tables and chairs.

The thing is - everything blended together nicely - nature, people, tables and chairs - sounds of bird singing and people chatting mingled together and everyone minded their own business.

I was exploring the place with Soba in the rucksack and I believe no one even noticed I had a cat with me.

And I think Soba enjoyed his outing because he didn't complain. He seemed to take it all in.

As I was looking around the garden, I thought to myself that I wanted my garden to be like this garden - very natural, simple and welcoming.

It gives me an inspiration to try to do some gardening, I think. I have many packages of seeds I need to sow and a lot of weeding to do.

I probably won't have insect hotel but I will try to make my garden is insect and bird friendly.

I probably won't have a pond either although I do have frogs and damselflies in my garden.

I want to have a nice garden but I'm rubbish at gardening 😢 Just have to keep practising, I suppose.

Plants for sale here! They are wild flowers - nothing flash, just wild and natural.
