Goodbye January
I take Snoopy for a short walk everyday. He still needs an exercise which he enjoys. As he still can't socialise with other dogs, what we can do is going for a walk up and down the road. These are some photos on the day we went visiting our local church. No, we didn't go inside the church, it was shut and Snoopy wouldn't be allowed inside anyway- I think? but he could have a good sniff around the church yard which he did.
I have no knowledge of my local church, it makes me feel a bit guilty but there are so many churches in Norfolk - not that I complain I love these old churches. They have this peaceful, dream- like kind of thing about them.
I love this gate - it looks so pretty and imagine who has been coming through it over time from when it was built? I'm afraid England is the place that makes you feel melancholy about times, about the past and the people you haven't even met.
You know, the gate post has this cute little flower carved into it. I have no idea if it has any meaning? It looks cute anyway.
Not these funny looking fruit which I found out that they are figs! It's the first I've seen the real ones actually.
Then, as unpredictable as everything in life. the sun was gone and it was so cold and foggy the next day. It was so cold that my hands were so numb I could barely take these photographs.
We went for an early morning walk to avoid other dogs and before I had to go to work - Snoopy enjoyed the walk but I didn't.
But I must admit that the fog makes the landscape looks more interesting and I wish my hands weren't that numb because the photos I took were dreadful. Perhaps this video will give you a better view of the atmosphere - A walk on a cold, foggy morning
See what February will bring. I'm taking Snoopy to the vet tomorrow - so wish him luck 💓
