Walk # 1: River Wensum between Hampton and Fakenham
It's a lovely little river path between Hampton and Fakenham. It's take about 10 to 15 minutes there and the same on the way back - depends on how fast you walk.
Hampton is a little old village next to Fakenham which is a market town - a town that seems to have everything but not so up market. Hampton is surprisingly nice! It has a lovely old church and twee old cottages.
In the summer - there are many ducks and geese decorated the river. There is a sign not to feed them especially there is a very tame swan - he gets sick after gobbled up whole load of bread!
It's still a lovely place for a short, quick walk in the autumn. Reminded me a lot of the Wind in the Willows. The path as you see - very solid and even - very safe to walk. The locals use the path as a short cut between the town and the village.
There are some lovely houses on the other side of the river for you to admire. A lovely walk along River Wensum in Hempton near Fakenham, Norfolk here is the link for you to check on the video.
