Charms of country living

Driving around the countryside when the weather is warm and sunny is interesting because it's beautiful and there are so many things to see. One thing you might not know that you can do some shopping here - in the middle of nowhere😗. Country folks often put up a stall outside their front gate, selling their home grown produce.

                  

What they normally put on sale are plants, cut-flowers, eggs, honey, jam, vegetables, pickles etc.

I buy fresh eggs - especially duck eggs from one of these stalls. I buy hen eggs too sometimes. You help yourself with what you want then put money in the jar.

I hope people are still honest these days - well... I am anyway.

I think it's one of the charms of country living. It's the way to share their leftover from their vegetable garden which is a marvellous idea.

This stall is specialised in jams! variety of jams -😍 hmm.. perhaps some pickles too.

Unfortunately I don't eat jam, do you? I'm sure it's delicious. Would you like to try some? 😋
