Close to heaven - Mount Kailas Temple สวรรค์ วัดเขาไกรลาส

 As I said, I come with no expectation but Mount Kailas temple is truely heaven. It's so beautiful and peaceful. I'm not that religious and I've hardly been inside a temple but recently I feel drawn to the ones that are truly peaceful and this place is definitely one of them. Even more special to me with the story behind it.

อย่างที่บอกไปแล้วว่า มาโดยที่ไม่ได้คาดหวัง และก็ไม่ได้ผิดหวังแต่อย่างใด เพราะว่าวัดเขาไกรลาสเป็นสวรรค์จริงๆ  ทั้งสวยงามและสงบ จริงๆ แล้วไม่ได้เป็นคนที่เข้าวัดเข้าวาบ่อยๆ แต่ระยะหลังๆ นี้มีความรู้สึกว่ามีเสียงเรียกร้องให้เข้าไปหาวัดที่ให้ความสงบร่มเย็น และวัดนี้ก็คือใช่เลย เรื่องเล่าของแม่ยิ่งทำให้พิเศษมากขึ้น

Mount Kailas Temple or Wat Khao Krailas as the locals calls it, was founded in 1932 as a branch of Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawihan and it certainly has the similar regal, classy feels about the place.  

วัดเขาไกรลาสเป็นวัดที่ตั้งขึ้นในปีพ.ศ. 2474 เข้าใจว่าเป็นสาขาหนึ่งของวันราชบพิตรสถิตมมหาสีมาราม ราชวรวิหาร ถึงว่าบรรยากาศและอะไรต่างๆ ให้ความรู้สึกถึงความมีระดับเป็นวัดหลวง ที่สงบน่าเลื่อมใส ศรัทธา 

The Chapel is not too big or too small and it's beautifully decorated in (I feel) minimalistic style. I could sit there forever. 

ตัวโบสถ์มีขนาดกำลังพอดี ไม่ใหญ่ไม่เล็ก และตกแต่งอย่างสวยงามไม่มากเกินไป น่านั่งนานๆๆๆ

 I love everything about this temple. It has everything I had imagined it to be -heaven.  It has a special place in my heart. I hope it will always be kept this way.

ฉันชอบทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างของวัดนี้ มันเป็นอย่างที่จินตนาการไว้เลย มันได้นั่งที่พิเศษอยู่ในใจของฉัน และก็หวังว่ามันจะเป็นอย่างนี้ตลอดไป

 

I hope I will visit Mount Kailash in Tibet one day. หวังว่าจะได้ไปเยี่ยมเขาไกรลาสที่ทิเบตสักวันหนึ่ง
